An integral part of a sustainable future is biodiversity, particularly of our native flora and fauna.
English ivy is “an aggressive invader that threatens all vegetation levels of forested and open areas” according to the National Park Service. It is a serious threat to the trees in both our preserves and our backyards in Rose Valley, as well as to other native plant species.
