About the event
Rose Valley's EAC is thrilled to welcome the Stroud Water Research Center to Rose Valley and the Ridley Creek Watershed!
Join us for a family-friendly (but interesting for all ages!) stroll along Ridley Creek looking for stream bugs, testing the water, and learning about your connection to the watershed and why that matters! As part of our Next 100 Campaign, this event will help us understand how choices in and around our home affect our local rivers and how simple simple changes to our lifestyles will make Ridley Creek Watershed healthier 100 years from now than it is today.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
Each walk is roughly 45-mins, with 3 opportunities to sign up - 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 pm. Just choose the ticket option for the time you would like to attend. We are limiting each ticket order to 5. If you have more than 5 in your party, or if your preferred time slot is full, please contact us.
The program is child-friendly but interesting for adults and teens as well. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear shoes that cover toes/ heels to get in the stream and dress for being outdoors on an easy trail.
